The Blanket Box

This weekend Dan got the bug.... let me explain, I love Dan to death but he is not shall we say "a do it yourselfer" well this weekend he got the bug and decided we needed a blanket box in our living room. Well we had some extra wood in our basement that he knew would be perfect!

so we discussed the details such as size ect. We calculated the measurements drew up plans laid out tools. Dan cut all the wood. As we started putting the box together we realized that several of the peices of wood were warped. but we continued to put all the pieces together the finished product ended up way bigger then we had planned for and all the pieces don't fit just right. But everytime we look at it we will have a good little laugh at it.

Slacker

I opened this blog months ago and have not been active at posting anything. Just an update... we all seem like we are moving in super fast mode , the days go by too quick. I would just like to slow down and enjoy it more often. My baby is crawling all over the place and trying to learn to walk and it just seems like yesterday that he was so tiny, now I see my new little neice and she is so tiny and Morgan is huge almost a todler. Alexis is in 2nd grade and Jeremy in 1st I remember when they were both running around in diapers. It is my goal to slow down and enjoy my family more... Because just yesterday they were babies

On a better note next week Dan heads to Texas to find out about his job!!! if all works out the way we hope I will be able to stay home and be a full time mom. The only hard part will that we will be so far away from our family.
